This historic book carries the full flavor and mystique of America's dynamic cold war rocket and missile industry.   An Aerobee Hi streaks up the front cover, while another soars above White Sands Proving Ground on the back.  The test firing of a large liquid engine is inside the cover.

Inside are also photos of JATO-boosted DC-3s, B-47s, and Regulus, Nike missile, Aerojet's nuclear reactor, and their analog unity-time-scale computer -- advanced in that age.  Dan Kimball's face greets you on page five, followed by photos of 25 corporate leaders, and then Dr. Theodore von Karman and the technical advisory board.

During the peak of the cold-war era, this book was printed and distributed to each and every new employee on the day they were hired, providing key information and "rules of the game."  I was working at Aerojet in 1957, and can vouch for the authenticity of this reprint.

It includes company history, corporate organization, technical advisory board, industrial relations division, benefits and services, service pin awards, wage and salary information, pay procedures, overtime and shift premiums, policies and procedures, promotions and grievances, employment of relatives, professional ethics, ID cards and badges, restricted areas, safety and security, and much, much more.
